For heavy robot payloads up to 1,000 kg, we offer the KUKA linear unit KL 3000: long travels of up to 30 m (in one-meter sections) greatly extend the work envelope compared with the normal robot range. This means that a robot can perform more tasks, making additional equipment superfluous.

Increase your output: up to two robots can be operated on the KL 3000, mounted on separate carriages. A number of robot positions on the linear axis enable optimal positioning relative to existing requirements and workspaces. Cycle times can be shortened even further if the workpieces or tools are moved on additional carriages (tender carriages).
